About the event

Important this is an event organized by the School of Computer Science. It is not affiliated with the ACM Student Chapter!

Drawing from disciplines like computer science,  design, and psychology, human-computer interaction (HCI) experts are uniquely positioned to  help drive product discovery and innovation.  From eliciting user needs through user research,  connecting insights with tech trends to creating  prototypes that communicate ideas vividly to  stakeholders, there are many opportunities –  but also challenges– for HCI experts to have  impact. In this talk, I will share my journey across  academia, big tech corporations, and small startups and my lessons learned from working on  emerging technologies such as AR/VR and Conversational Voice Assistants in industry.
